  1. Peter - I just want to let you know that you've been influencing me for decades without my trying to document the Kelman method.
in the fall of '79 Dartmouth's "Educational Issues in Contemporary Society" included Faith Dunne telling us (first year that I was) that we would use it for the 5 papers in the class. It worked like a charm for me then, and I have had it as my north star, always failing to execute the kind of feedback I needed to do, throughout the 25 years I've been an adjunct History professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (NYC). All of my educational courses have influenced me strongly.
I think you did lecture us at least once, maybe you were the one that introduced the primacy of institutional priorities over founding values, and you definitely gave us the example of a student who believed that they made their purchase decisions independent of corporate manipulation, e.g. when buying fabric softener!
As a rare commenter, I doubt this will be seen soon, but I'd be happy if I'm wrong and you got in touch. You might appreciate that I find myself hurrying to find useful primary sources to show students the prevailing injustice of access to education in 19th C US.
My actual name is Elizabeth Hovey (Dartmouth '83), I've gone by Zabby Hovey for decades. The email that this identity is linked to is kind of peripheral, so please use ehovey@jjay.cuny.edu or 646 872-0863 if you want to know more.
